DESCRIPTION:
French unsigned cast and hammered brass unsigned mantel clock, S. Marti 8-day time & strike movement, c.1890.
CONDITION:
Uneven and worn finish, but still appealing appearance, intricate metal case. Top dome and entire top lift off (not attached). 2-level white porcelain dial has small crack below strike winding hole. Visible escapement with red pallet jewels. Strikes on bell, ticks but probably needs cleaning. Ht.17".
